THE PRESS SECRETARY OF THE PRIME MINISTER REFUTED THE INFORMATION THAT TIGRAN SARGSYAN WAS OFFERED TO BE APPOINTED THE FIRST DEPUTY CHAIRMAN OF THE CB OF RUSSIA
YEREVAN, OCTOBER 30, ARMENPRESS. The information regarding the
appointment of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Tigran
Sargsyan the first deputy chairman of the Central Bank of the Russian
Federation does not correspond to reality. The Press Secretary of the
Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Harutyun Berberyan informed
"Armenpress" about this.
"Aravot" daily citing his sources had written that "the lobbying work
for Tigran Sargsyan is accomplished by a number of famous bankers,
businessmen, including Tigran Sargsyan's classmate and Director of
"Gazprom" Alexander Miller." According to the information of the
newspaper this offer was made by the Prime Minister of the Russian
Federation Dmitry Medvedev during the meeting of the two prime
ministers in Yalta.
