PRESIDENT SERZH SARGSYAN ATTENDED THE FOUNDATION CEREMONY OF ARMENIAN CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE IN ONCOLOGY
YEREVAN, OCTOBER 30, ARMENPRESS: Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan was
present at the foundation ceremony of Armenian Centre of Excellence in
Oncology (ACEO). After the blessing of Natan Archbishop Hovhannsiyan
National Competitiveness Foundation of Armenia board member Ara Darzi
and GMS company executive director Hayk Bakrgyan installed the blessed
bag in the center~Rs base.
Arman Khachaturyan, director of National Competitiveness Foundation of
Armenia stated the center is seeking to become of regional importance
and meet the requirements of society. In the words of Tigran Davtyan ,
Minister of Economy will be enabled a chance to provide services to
Armenian citizens and foreigners meet the international standards.
'' The state is investing significant resources in the implementation
of this project. It will also be important for economic development
projects'' Minister underscored. According to Minister of Health
Derenik Dumanyan the project will be a breakthrough in the development
of oncology sphere. ''Unfortunately during the recent years Armenia
has recovered increase in infectious diseases and mortality'' Minister
of Health noted.
National Competitiveness Foundation of Armenia have jointly elaborated
long-term plan of Armenian Centre of Excellence in Oncology (ACEO)with
Armenian Ministries of Economy and Health.
