ARMENIAN JEWELRY MAKING IS ON A HIGH LEVEL. SYRIAN ARMENIAN JEWELER
YEREVAN, OCTOBER 29, ARMENPRESS: Armenian jewelry making has a high
development level when compared with eastern, particularly Arabic
jewelry. Armenpress quoted Syrian Armenian jeweler Dro Barsumian, who
participated in the jewelry exhibition held in Yerevan on October 29.
Armenian from all over the world participated in this exhibition.
"Armenian jewelry has a high level of development in terms of
equipment and quality when compared with Arabic jewelry. Handmade
jewelry are more valued in Armenia rather than in Syria" noted Dro
Barsumyan. He also highly evaluated the initiative of the exhibition
in the motherland, highlighting that such kind of events promoted the
development and strengthening of bilateral relations and establishment
of new business ties.
Referring to the current martial situation in Syria, the goldsmith
stressed that he had arrived to Armenia with great difficulty,
because in Syria it was a problem to go to the street. Therefore,
he was going to return to Syria.
