Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree, pardoning
Ramil Safarov, who axed Armenian Officer Gurgen Margaryan during
NATO exercises in Budapest, Azerbaijani media report, citing the
President's Press Office.
Azerbaijani 1news.az reports that Safarov, who was sentenced to life
in prison, has been extradited to Azerbaijan.
His photo on arrival to Baku was posted on Facebook. The information
was confirmed by Azerbaijani MP Jeyhun Osmanli.
