57-MEMBER LEBANESE DELEGATION IN ARTSAKH

A Lebanese delegation composed of 57 businessmen will be visiting
Karabakh on August 31-September 4. Besides official meetings, the
businessmen will get acquainted with the investment possibilities of
the country, as well as the current business and charity programs.
85 Armenian Lebanese businessmen are members of the ARI /Artsakh Roots
Investment Company/ registered in Cyprus. ARI provides low-interest
loans in Artsakh to the residents of Kashatagh and Shahumyan regions.
The company has already had 600 beneficiaries in Karabakh.
Benyamin Bchaqchyan, one of ARI shareholders, says their project
needs to be an example for the Armenian businessmen of other countries.
The Lebanese delegation will meet with president Bako Sahakyan and
prime minister Ara Harutyunyan. The businessmen will visit Shahumyan
and Kashatagh regions to meet those families who used the ARI loans.
In the course the meeting, Artsakh Fund will present cows to many
families. The Fund has been presenting cows to all the families living
in communities from Mrav to Arax which have the third and more kids.
