ARMENIAN COMMUNITY IN HUNGARY DEMANDS ORBAN'S RESIGNATION

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 3, ARMENPRESS: Armenian community in Budapest is
organizing protest action in front of the governmental building at
6 PM against Hungarian authorities' steps: the extradition of Ramil
Safarov who hacked Armenian officer Gurgen Margaryan to death. Among
other Hungarians Ex-Prime Minister of Hungry Gyurcsany Ferenc will
participate in this protest. This will be the continuation of Budapest
protest action on September 2.
,,During the protest in front of the governmental building on September
2 the protestors demanded the resignation of Prime Minister Victor
Orban. Tomorrow joining Armenian community thousands of Hungarians
will protest against the decision of their own authorities about
the transfer of perpetrator Ramil Safarov" said the representative
of Armenian community Arayik Grigoryan during the interview with
Armenpress's reporter.
Azeri perpetrator Ramil Safarov hacked Armenian officer Gurgen
Margaryan with an axe during the training courses organized by NATO
in Budapest on February 19, 2004. Safarov was sentenced to a life
imprisonment without the right of granting clemency in first 30 years.
