There is no need for a mediation to settle relations between Armenia
and Hungary, Spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Tigran
Balayan said, commenting on the reports about a possible Swiss
mediation to normalize ties between the two countries.
"I do not think there is a need for mediation. What we need here are
clear steps from the Hungarian authorities," Balayan noted.
The Hungarian Foreign Minister Janos Martonyi had declared earlier that
"Hungary has accepted an offer from Switzerland to mediate in a dispute
with Armenia caused by the extradition of Ramil Safarov to Azerbaijan."
