Heghine Bisharyan, the deputy leader of the Rule of Law Party (RLP),
is convinced that it is too early to put forward the Recognition of the
Nagorno-Karabakh Republic bill. "The independence of Nagorno-Karabakh
will not be by a legislative proposal. I don't think it is right to
make us talk about declaring the independence of Karabakh today, at
this moment, and tomorrow by a legislative proposal, it is an issue
that should be seriously discussed, particularly given the fact that
we know that there is work done by the Minsk Group etc. There is an
opinion caused by the latest developments, the step taken by Hungary,
which we share, to show the world what Azerbaijan is and to let them
know that Karabakh will never be a part of Azerbaijan, but taking
the legislative path is not the right way," Ms. Bisharyan said to
www.aravot.am about the fact that Zaruhi Postanjyan, a Heritage Party
MP, had put forward the Recognition of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic
bill in the National Assembly.
