Yerevan/Mediamax/. Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan said that "the
step by the Hungarian government that has extradited Ramil Safarov
to Azerbaijan is unacceptable".
Commenting on Hungary's transfer of Ramil Safarov to Azerbaijan, Serzh
Sargsyan said that the Armenian side has frequently stated that in case
of extradition the murderer will not serve his sentence in Azerbaijan.
"In this situation no one has the moral right to remain silent about
what has happened," the President said, noting that "the political
correctness" towards Baku became the reason for Azerbaijan's "cynical
behavior".
"On various occasions we have always warned our colleagues that
statements in official documents distorting the essence of the
Nagorno Karabakh conflict are very dangerous, first of all because
they promote the strengthening of Azerbaijan's destructive position,"
the President concluded.
