After attacks on the Armenian news websites, websites of state
agencies for several days without results, Azeri hackers resorted
to additional potential and waged a large-scale attack on dozens of
Armenian websites.
Periodically news websites are under attack, the websites of a number
of ministries don't function. For some time the official website of
the Armenian president- president.am was inaccessible.
The press secretary of the RA president Armen Arzumanyan told Mediamax
the website functions normally, but as the internet-territory of the
Republic of Armenia is under a mass attack, there were problems with
mutual connections with internet-providers, which made the official
website of the RA president inaccessible for many users.
Our source, who is a specialist of the sphere, said Azeris, being
unable to attack the Armenian websites, hired a foreign group of
hackers involving several thousand computers at once. It is not ruled
out that the group of hackers is a Russian group. Experts say the
attacks come from Azerbaijan, Turkey, Pakistan and Indonesia.
