    YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 7, ARMENPRESS: Robert Behnisch, the head of
    Czech-Armenia Parliamentary Friendship Group, addressed with a
    question to Czech Republic Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister
    Karel Schwarzenberg during the 45th meeting of Czech Parliament House
    on September 6. Armenpress reports that Bohnisch has referred to the
    case of Safarov's extradition and pardon and has noted that in a
    result of Hungary's unprecedented and shameful decision and especially
    of wicked actions of Azerbaijan the process of Nagorno-Karabakh
    settlement has been called into question, On this occasion Bohnisch
    asked about the position of Czech Republic concerning this issue.



    Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Karel Schwarzenberg
    answered that Armenia that Armenia had had unequivocal support of
    Czech Republic. Giving his evaluation to Safarov's deed Schwarzenberg
    highlighted ,, Safarov is a sentenced murderer, murder is a murder,
    and the happened made a laughingstock of the victim's family, the
    principles of justice and rule of law.

    Referring to the actions of Azerbaijani authorities the Deputy Prime
    Minister noted ,, We are deeply concerned with the actions of
    Azerbaijani government about which we have already informed them
    through their Embassy in Prague. I believe that this is not only about
    Hungary, Azerbaijan and Armenia. All international society is
    concerned with the actions of Azerbaijan. The reputation and image of
    Azerbaijan are severely damaged'.

    Czech politician has stressed the importance of preventing the future
    aggravation of the situation and positively evaluated the position of
    Armenia concerning this issue.

    This issue will be discussed by the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of EU
    member countries at non-official meeting in Nicosia.
