After extradition of Azerbaijani murderer Ramil Safarov and his
glorification, Armenia should voice the issue of depriving Azerbaijan
of the status of non-permanent member of the UN Security Council,
director of Armenian Genocide museum-institute Hayk Demoyan told the
reporters on Tuesday.
He said it is the first step Armenia should do in the created
situation.
"The issue on official recognition of Armeniaphobia as crime should
be voiced in the European Parliament. Today two states are carrying
out a clear anti-Armenian policy. They should be held accountable,"
Demoyan stressed.
Referring to the talks between Armenia and Azerbaijan, the museum's
director said, "Talks are circulating that the extradition may
affect the peace process. There is no need to make conclusions. It
has already affected the process. Till now it was spoken about mutual
concessions. But why should we make concessions? For who?" he said.
Demoyan stressed that Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has afforded
Armenia an opportunity to make like what he said a golden step -
a punitive step. Asked to explain what he means Demoyan refused to.
