YEREVAN. - At the moment opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC)
group MP Nikol Pashinyan has no information about rumors claiming that
the ANC will hold meeting on Sept. 21 and will nominate a presidential
    candidate, Pashinyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

In response to the question whether it is likely that the ANC nominates
another candidate except for the ANC leader, Armenia's First President
Levon Ter-Petrosyan, the opposition MP said that it is quite unlikely.

As for the possible nomination of the one candidate by the joint
opposition forces in Armenia, Pashinyan said that only time will show.

In addition, one of the impetuses to consolidate the opposition forces
is the necessity of getting rid of the current authorities.

Presidential elections are scheduled in Armenia for February 19, 2013.
