YEREVAN.- The municipality of Yerevan plans to renovate Northern
Avenue in the center of Armenia's capital, chief architect Narek
Sargsyan told reporters on Friday.
The avenue will be landscaped, concrete pavement will be replaced by
a sine one, illumination system will be modernized.
"Unless we fail to summarize the project this fall, we will start
renovation next spring," Sargsyan said.
The green areas will be tripled, decorative lighting will be installed
on the buildings.
