Secretary of Armenian Heritage party Styopa Safaryan views the
interview of the spokesperson for the Prosperous Armenia party Tigran
Urikhanyan as a message to change the government and the prime minister
in particular, for saving its face.
"For entering the coalition the PAP demands change of the government.
I cannot say whether they want to take the post or just seek PM's
resignation," Safaryan told Tert.am, commenting on Urikhanyan's
interview.
Voicing hope that the consultation of Armenia's President will bring
to some practical changes, PAP spokesperson told Zhoghovurd paper that
the party may form a coalition only in case it will be able to maintain
its political course and not be limited "by some preconditions."
Asked who may be the PAP candidate - Robert Kocharyan, Gagik Tsarukyan
or Gurgen Arsenyan, Heritage party representative said he cannot
make conclusions but can say one thing clearly - "since 2010 Robert
Kocharyan was making attempts to be appointed country's PM." As to
PAP leader, he did not exclude this variant either.
