YEREVAN. - A new government is being formed these days in
Nagorno-Karabakh. And although the government's head-that is, the
PM-is the same, there is no shortage of new ones. And this time
Armenia's opposition ARF Dashnaktsutyun Party has become more active
in Karabakh's political life than it is in Armenia, Irates De Facto
newspaper reports.
"The Government's Deputy PM is Dashnaktsutyun member Arthur Aghabekyan,
and Dashnaktsutyun member Davit Ishkhanyan will probably head the
Foreign Affairs Ministry.
According to some information, this is the very 'price' for supporting
[Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) President] Bako Sahakyan [in the
recent presidential elections]. And, in the future, Dashnaktsutyun
members could be appointed to other offices, too.
Incidentally, it is more noteworthy that [NKR's] foreign policy
domain is in the hands of Dashnaktsutyun members. According to our
information, from now on the Dashnaktsutyun's organizations abroad will
exert very great efforts within the politics of the very Karabakh,"
Irates De Facto writes.
