YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 18, ARMENPRESS: The Collective Rapid Response
Forces (CRRF) of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO)
can resist terrorist acts and prevent the actions of armed grouppings.
As reported by Armenpress, this was stated at the press conference
on September 18 by the CSTO Secretary General Nikolay Bordyuzha.
The Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization
as well mentioned that the idea of "establishing joint works" was of
great importance for CSTO. "Any issue is discussed and solutions of
problems are found in the result of joint works. So, along with this
we have always mentioned that we are a young organization and there
are so many issues that need to be settled", - said Nikolay Bordyuzha,
adding that the military drills "reminded" of the key issues.
At the press conference the members of the Parliamentary Defense and
Security Council of the CSTO member countries stated that the current
level of the cooperation was quite important and expressed hope that
it would become stronger and deeper.
In the morning of September 18 the members of the Parliamentary Defense
and Security Council of the CSTO member countries visited the Military
Institute after Vazgen Sargsyan of the Ministry of Defence of the
Republic of Armenia, as well as partook in the joint session of the
