22-year-old pedestrian dies in Yerevan road accident

YEREVAN. - While driving a Mercedes-Benz S500, Shahen Hakhoyan, 22,
ran over pedestrian Davit Hovhannisyan, 22, in front of an Armenian
capital city Yerevan building, on Saturday at around 12:30am.
Hovhannisyan was taken to `Armenia' Medical Center, the Police
informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
After the hit, the Mercedes-Benz crashed into an Opel Vectra driven by
Hakob Martirosyan, 31, and, subsequently, Shahen Hakhoyan fled the
scene of the incident.
But Hakhoyan was found nearby an alley and taken to a Police precinct.
Davit Hovhannisyan, however, did not regain consciousness after the
hit, and subsequently lost his life, `Armenia' Medic
