'Radiolur'
The Yerevan School of Political Studies (YSPS) of the Council of
Europe launched its 2012-2013 academic year today. The School was
established eight years ago, and lecturers from the Council of Europe,
the European Union, the OSCE and NATO, as well as the Sorbonne,
Strasbourg and Paris Universities, Ambassadors accredited in Armenia
and MPs have delivered lectures ever since.
The School holds discussions on political, economic and cultural
issues. As a result, the graduates acquire necessary knowledge and
skills to work in different spheres. YSPS alumnae contribute to the
process of European integration, state-building, reinforcement of
democratic values. Director of the
Speaking about the role of the School, Armenian Deputy Foreign
Minister Shavarsh Kocharyan noted that people with different political
views openly dispute here, which means that tolerance dominates in the
school. `The one, who's tolerant, is strong, hared means weakness,' he
said.
