Yerevan School of Political studies of the Council of Europe launched

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 22, ARMENPRESS: The academic year 2012-2013
declared its launch in Yerevan School of Political Studies of the
Council of Europe . As the school head Armen Zakaryan stated with
gratitude the seminars never turn into somehow scheduled standard
courses instead become the scene of issues demanding urgent solution,
Armenpress reports.
The Director of Political Planning of the Council of Europe Peter
Svitarsky noted, Yerevan School is one of the most successful among 16
schools of political studies of the Council of Europe. '' Democracy
faces hard times in Europe. The mature development of Political
dialogue is of high importance, reportedly the works of the school
currently are much more topical'' Svitarsky noted. Deputy Foreign
Minister Shavarsh Kocharyan told the school is a unique platform,
where people with different political views gather and hold free
debate.
The Yerevan School of Political Studies was officially opened under
the auspices of the Council of Europe on 29 June 2005. YSPS is a
project realizing practical political education and training.The
School map is expanding this year including Morocco, Tunisia, later on
Kazakhstan.
