The initiative of the member of the ANC parliamentary group Hrant
Bagratyan to amend the law on nature protection and nature
exploitation fees received the negative assessment of the government
today. Hrant Bagratyan assures that the 2011 amendments didn't change
anything and the royalty, being very low, is beneficial mostly to the
major enterprisers. Bagratayan proposed to increase the royalty by
four times.
Minister of finances Vache Gabrielyan noted that if the proposal is
accepted, there will be problems with the investors and exploiters.
