Belarus, Armenia sign cooperation agreement in forensic examination

MINSK, 20 September (BelTA) - Justice Minister of Belarus Oleg
Slizhevsky has met with his Armenian counterpart Hrair Tovmasyan on 20
September, BelTA learnt from the Justice Ministry of Belarus.
The ministers signed a cooperation agreement in forensic examination.
`The interagency agreement creates a legal framework for promoting
mutually beneficial cooperation between the justice ministries of the
two countries,' the Justice Ministry of Belarus noted.
The agreement envisages sharing best practices and information in
forensic examination and criminal science, coordination of research
projects on forensic examination, training and advanced training of
personnel, evaluation of research methods and means, providing
scientific, methodological, consultative and technical support.
The Justice Ministry informed that the cooperation agreement will be
implemented by the justice ministries and the Center for Forensic
Examination and Criminal Science of the Justice Ministry of Belarus
and the Examination Center of the Republic of Armenia.
