RAFFI HOVANNISIAN DELIVERS POLICY ADDRESS
Yerevan--Raffi K. Hovannisian, Armenia's first minister of foreign
affairs and current chairman of the Heritage Party, yesterday made a
public policy presentation on the occasion of the Republic's 21st
anniversary. The event took place at the Armenian Center for National
and International Studies (ACNIS).
Ahead of the upcoming presidential elections in Armenia, Hovannisian
revealed a national platform that outlines more than a dozen priority
issues, and domestic and foreign challenges, which must be resolved
over the following five years.
`Led by a promising generation of educated young brainpower and civic
activism, the nation will own a Constitution that is no longer a mere
documentation of dreams and declarations. It will assert mastery of a
functioning parliamentary republic,' maintained Hovannisian,
underscored his vision of Armenia's tomorrow.
In conclusion, Hovannisian congratulated those in attendance, and the
entire nation, on Armenian Independence Day.
