Foundation laying ceremony of Armenian church in Ukrainian town of
Donetsk took place on September 23.
Armenian ambassador to Ukraine Andranik Manukyan, head of Ukrainian
Armenians Union Vilen Shatvoryan, Archbishop Grigoris Buniatian,
honorary consul Armen Aslanian, representatives of the Armenian
community attended the event.
Ambassador Andranik Manukyan noted that Armenian people have always
paid special attention to church building. "It may be witnessed with
the existence of Armenian churches and monuments all over the world
we have inherited from our ancestors," the ambassador said.
