Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, in parallel with the OSCE Minsk Group must
be dealt with other international organizations, the Vice-Speaker of
the Azerbaijani Parliament Bahar muradova said.
Azerbaijan's efforts to bring the conflict to a settlement with other
organizations do not prevent the existence of the OSCE Minsk Group.
I.e., the Azerbaijani side can lead this process in parallel, said
Monday in an interview with the ruling party "Yeni Azerbaijan" (NAP),
Vice-Speaker of Azerbaijani parliament Bahar Muradova.
According to her, Azerbaijan has always declared allegiance to
the peace talks, and proving this case, highlights the need input
from other international organizations in the settlement of the
Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
"We have raised this problem in the UN and other international
organizations. Currently on the agenda of the UN General Assembly
are two issues related to the occupied territories of Azerbaijan,
and is expected to discuss them. So we need to continue efforts in
all directions" - Muradova said.
The mechanisms are still used in the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh
conflict, are ineffective, and therefore settlement is delayed,
said Muradova.
"We have repeatedly stated that the activities of the co-chairs do not
suit us. I believe that if there is political will, the settlement
of the conflict is possible in this format. However, if you start
from scratch, it could further delay the issue," - said Muradova .
