Turkey's EU minister has claimed that France does not yet have any
decision on a new Genocide denial penalization bill.
Sondakika.com has quoted Egemen Bagish as saying that the Turkish
embassy in Paris closely follows the developments.
It comes after French Socialist lawmaker Valerie Boyer said promised
to introduce a new draft law to the parliament.
""We are now waiting to see if President Holland will keep his campaign
promise to enact a law criminalizing the Armenian Genocide, but today
is a different policy towards Turkey," Boyer said.
The bill was approved by the French Senate in February, but the
French Constitutional Council rejected the document, declaring it
unconstitutional.
