PRESIDENT SERZH SARGSYAN SENT A LETTER OF CONDOLENCES ON THE DEMISE OF THE FORMER MINISTER OF DEFENSE OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION PAVEL GRACHEV

The letter sent to the spouse of Pavel Grachev, Lyubov Gracheva states:
"I learned with great sorrow the news on the demise of Pavel Sergeevich
Grachev.
Pavel Grachev was a true officer, brave paratrooper, courageous
and honest man who dedicated his life to military service, to the
strengthening of Russia's defense capabilities and national security
and was awarded the Hero of the USSR title.
In Armenia, we highly praise exceptional efforts and considerable
participation in the enforcement of peace and stability in our
region, and his assistance to the enhancement of Armenia's defense
capabilities. He was standing at the origins of establishment and
development of the allied relations between our brotherly states.
Because of his consistent and efficient work as well as because
of his great human characteristics, Pavel Grachev will remain in
the memory of the Armenian people as a trustworthy friend and true
comrade-in-arms. His professional spirit, loyalty to his oath and
duty, courage and intrepidity serve a brilliant example for young
generations.
Dear Lyubov Alexeevna,
Please accept my sincere condolences. At this difficult for your
family times, I wish you tenacity and resilience."
