ESTONIAN RIIGIKOGU PRESIDENT INTENDS TO ESTABLISH CLOSE COOPERATION WITH ARMENIAN NATIONAL ASSEMBLY ADMINISTRATION

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 26, ARMENPRESS: On September 25 the Ambassador of
the Republic of Armenia to Estonia Ara Ayvazyan met the President
of the Estonian Riigikogu Ene Ergma. As Armenpress was reported by
the Press, Information and PR Department of the Ministry of Foreign
Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, during the meeting the parties
expressed their satisfaction about the interstate relations between
Armenia and Estonia, emphasizing the necessity of further development
of interparliamentary cooperation.
The President of the Riigikogu of Estonia expressed her intention
to establish close business cooperation with the administration of
the National Assembly of Armenia on both bilateral and multilateral
platforms. The parties agreed on implementation of mutual visits in
the coming future.
The Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Estonia Ara Ayvazyan
and the President of the Estonian Riigikogu Ene Ergma touched upon
the regional issues, as well as the recent events in the framework
of the peaceful regulation of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict issue.
