Democratic Party of Armenia (DPA) leader Aram Sargsyan has denied
plans to run in the country's presidential election.
"Although a format for the Democratic Party of Armenia's participation
in the republic's presidential election in February 2013 will be
discussed at an upcoming congress, I tell you that I am not going to
nominate myself," he told journalists.
In comparison with other candidates, Incumbent President Serzh Sargsyan
can actually show what he has done for the country, he said.
The government should not have spoken about problems fours years ago,
but should have guaranteed the implementation of the president's
resolutions, the DPA leader said.
