Armenian and Russian FMs meet in New York

YEREVAN. - Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian, who is in New
York to attend the UN General Assembly session, on Friday met with his
Russian counterpart, Sergei Lavrov.
They examined the Armenian-Russian ties, the implementation of the
arrangements made by the leaders of both countries, strengthening of
strategic interaction, cooperation within international organizations,
and synthesizing of positions, Armenian MFA press service informs.
Nalbandian and Lavrov exchange views on the avenues to surmount the
situation caused by Azerbaijani murderer Ramil Safarov's release, and
the continuation of the talks on the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process.
Armenia's and Russia's FMs also reflected on several international matters.
