UNION OF ARMENIAN ARCHITECTS: "CONSTRUCTION WORKS ON COVERED MARKET CONTINUE WITHOUT APPROVED PROJECT"

Yerevan/Mediamax/. Chairman of Union of Armenian Architects Mkrtich
Minasyan stated today that the construction works on the Yerevan
Covered Market continue without any approved project.
He noted that "there is no progress in this issue and it's an illegal
construction", Mediamax reports.
"What we have is enough to take severe measures to the developer",
said Minasyan.
Deputy Chairman of Union of Armenian Architects Alexander Badalyan
noted in his turn that another letter was sent to Yerevan Mayor Taron
Margaryan a few days ago where the architects called the process of
construction of the Covered Market "barbarism".
