SERZH SARGSYAN RECEIVES EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN OF ROSNEFT IGOR SECHIN

During a meeting today with Igor Sechin, head of Russian Rosneft
company, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan welcomed its arrival in
the Armenian market, according to the presidential press office.
"The arrival of Rosneft in the Armenian economy will give a great
stimulus to the development of bilateral economic cooperation,"
Sargsyan was quoted by his press service as saying, ARKA reports.
During the meeting the two men discussed chances of long-term
Russian-Armenian cooperation in economy, including the energy sector.
"The sides noted the importance of the economic component in the
consistent efforts to deepen and strengthen relations between the
two strategic partners", the press service said.
