Hessen land of Germany to host a forum on Armenian agriculture
YEREVAN, April 8. /ARKA/. An international forum on Armenia's agro
sector is to be held in Land Hessen, Germany, the press office of
Armenian ministry of agriculture reported.
The suggestion to hold such a forum was made at the meeting of
Armenian minister of agriculture Sergo Karapetyan with the head of
Bergstrasse region of Hessen Mathias Wilkes and Armenia honorary
consul in Hessen Brian Ferran.
The forum and Armenian agriculture information will be posted on local
sites to increase number of Armenia's friends, Ferran said in inviting
Karapetyan to visit Land Hessen.
Armenian minister accepted the invitation and expressed his
willingness to assist in cooperation.
Karapetyan also pointed out Armenia's great rural potential and
expressed willingness to involve other German investors in the
country's agro sector as well.
Karapetyan suggested the guests considering the possibility of
creating a modern food safety laboratory and a pig-breeding farm in
