ARMENIA AND SPAIN TO DEEPEN BILATERAL COOPERATION

YEREVAN, APRIL 10, ARMENPRESS: The Chairman of the Armenian NA
Committee of Foreign Affairs Artak Zakaryan hosted the Spanish
Ambassador in the countries of the South Caucasus Maria Victoria Scola
Pliego and the Honorary Consul of Spain in the Republic of Armenia
Armine Adamyan.
As Armenpress was informed at the PR and Information Department of the
Armenian National Assembly, welcoming the guests, Artak Zakaryan
considered important the development and deepening of the relations
between Armenia and Spain.
Expressing her gratitude for the warm reception, the Spanish
Ambassador in the countries of the South Caucasus informed that she
had come to Armenia to take part in the Inauguration Ceremony of the
President of the Republic of Armenia. Maria Victoria Scola Pliego
stated that Spain was quite interested in the South Caucasus
countries, Armenia, in particular and would like to deepen the
relations with the country.
During the meeting the interlocutors also touched upon the Armenia's
foreign policy and Nagorno Karabakh conflict issue.
The Chairman of the Armenian NA Committee of Foreign Affairs Artak
Zakaryan expressed his gratitude to Maria Pliego for her visit to
Armenia and her participation in the Inauguration Ceremony of the
President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan.
