    - The Russian language "was never an unfamiliar language to

administration, Sergei Ivanov, she took part in the ceremony of the
inauguration of 20 centers of Russian language studies.

"We have always attached much importance to Russian language studies,
as this language gives access not only to Russian culture but to all
cultures and to the whole world," Sargsyan said.

"The Russian language is preserved in Armenia, and the command of
the Russian language is obligatory under the educational program,"
he said. Russian-Armenian (Slav) University functions in the country.

Russian is studied in all general educational schools in Armenia,
he said. Sargsyan commended the work of the Stanislavsky Russian
