YEREVAN.- Czech Airlines will operate daily Prague-Yerevan flights
starting from 13, June 2013, spokesperson for the company Daniel
Sabik told Armenian News-NEWS.am.
On April 3, Yerevan's Zvartnots airport issued a statement saying it
will continue cooperation with other companies and will try to fill
in the gap caused by Armavia's bankruptcy. The statement said Czech
Airlines would operate seven flights per week.
"I can confirm that Czech Airlines are opening two new Prague-Yerevan
flights. Thus, the frequency of flights will increase up to seven
flights per week. The sixth flight will launch on May 6 and the
seventh - on June 13," Sabik explained.
He said a part of company's strategy is operation of flights to Russia
and post-Soviet states.
