The Garegin Nzhdeh compatriot group has asked Armenian President
Serzh Sargsyan to save Syunik region from its current governor Suren
Khachatryan.
"You cannot imagine a worse governor for the region. If he is
reappointed, the region will go through a new term of fear and
desolation," the group says, noting that unless their request is
satisfied, they will come to Yerevan and will go on a hunger strike.
