ARAKELUTYUN PARTY CONDEMNS POLICE VIOLENCE AGAINST DEMONSTRATORS

YEREVAN.- Arakelutyun party is condemning law enforcers' violence
during the April 9 action of the opposition in Baghramyan Avenue.
Manuk Sukiasyan, who is heading Arakelutyun proportional list for
Yerevan elections, spoke about his party's position on the opposition
rally.
"On April 9 we were there and saw everything," he told reporters
on Friday. Sukiasyan said there was no strategy, only spontaneous
actions by the police.
Using violence against Heritage deputy chairman Armen Martirosyan,
police officer behaved as a hooligan of the street, he emphasized.
