Taron Margaryan and Vartan Oskanian are the wealthiest candidates for
mayor of Yerevan

On April 13 Hetq.am published an article presenting the property of
those heading the lists of the parties participating in the elections
to the Yerevan Elders' Council.
The source says that as of April 3 2013, the sole income of Taron
Margaryan (Republican Party of Armenia), the current Mayor of Yerevan,
is his salary of 4.730 million AMD per annum. He has bank accounts of
115 million AMD, $50,000 and 50,000 Euros. He owns 50% of shares in
Z&Z LLC, 3 cars (Mercedes-Benz G500, Range Rover Supercharged and
Mercedes S450). Margaryan also owns 6 constructions and buildings in
Yerevan, 1 construction in Jermuk, 1 land plot in Dilijan and other
real estate with 3 land plots.
The sole income of Vardan Oskanyan (Prosperous Armenia Party),
ex-foreign minister of Armenia, is derived from his monthly 300,000
AMD as a member of parliament. He also declared $150,000 in bank
deposits. Oskanian owns a mansion with an area of 200 sq m in the USA
and a land plot with an area of 9 thsd sq m in Tsaghkadzor, Armenia.
Vahagn Khachatryan (Armenian National Congress), former Yerevan mayor,
declared no revenue for the period mentioned. He declared 600,000 AMD
and $1,500 in bank deposits. He owns a flat and a garage in Yerevan.
He has no property or car.
MP Armen Rustamyan (ARF Dashnaktsutyun) declared an annual salary of
3.350 million AMD and interest income of 150,000 AMD. He declared bank
deposits of 15 million AMD, $10,000 and 2,000 Euros. He owns a flat

Armen Yeritsyan (Orinats Yerkir Party), the Acting Minister of

Assembly when he served as an MP. He is the co-owner of a flat in
