    April 16, 2013 | 13:56

YEREVAN.- Prosperous Armenia plans to install cameras at all polling
stations during the election to the Yerevan Council, spokesperson
for the party Tigran Urikhanyan told reporters on Tuesday.

The party is still concerned over the voter lists and will strengthen
control over the voting process and counting of the ballots on the
election day. Talking to reporters, Urikhanyan stressed political
character of the upcoming municipal elections.

At the same time reporters~R attempts to clarify why Prosperous
Armenia members, who used to approve municipality~Rs decisions, have
turned into fierce opponents, were doomed to failure. Nevertheless,
Urikhanyan explained that the proportional list of his party was
    changed by 90 percent.

Six political parties and one bloc have submitted formal applications
to run in the Yerevan Council elections. The latter are slated for
May 5, and the participating political forces will vie for 65 Council
seats. The election campaign will come to an end on May 3. The Yerevan
