YEREVAN, APRIL 17, ARMENPRESS: The President of the Republic of
Armenia Serzh Sargsyan congratulated the Yezidi community of Armenia
on the occasion of the New Year - Melek Taus or The Peacock Angel. As
Armenpress was reported by the Department for Public Relations and Mass
Media, the congratulatory message of the President said particularly:
"I would like to congratulate the Yezidi community of Armenia on the
occasion of the New Year - Melek Taus.
I wish that the New Year for the Yezidi people of our country to be
full of success, happiness and prosperity and so that our compatriots
preserve and develop their national and cultural traditions.
Dear representatives of the Yezidi community of the Republic of
Armenia,
Today we share your happiness and be certain that we are ready to
share your concerns and that your problems will be in the center of
our attention.
