NATO Secretary General Special Representative to Caucasus and Central
Asia James Appathurai said Georgia may promote the regulation of
    Armenian-Azerbaijani relations and Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

According to Georgia Online, Appathurai made the statement in NATO
headquarters in Brussels at the meeting with the Georgian parliamentary
    delegation.

"NATO welcomes the reforms being implemented in Georgia and what
happened on October 1, 2012 [opposition victory in election] was a
big step on the way to the development of democracy," he said adding
that Georgia was and is NATO's reliable partner that clearly strives
NATO's membership. "Georgia may have a serious contribution to ensuring
regional security and play an important role in the settlement of
issues between Armenia and Azerbaijan," he said.

Georgia's parliamentary delegation is in Brussels for a two-day visit.
