SECRETARY GENERAL OF COUNCIL OF EUROPEAN HAILS THE OPPORTUNITY OF ESTABLISHING A NEW PARLIAMENTARY COMMITTEE ON "MARCH 1"

Jagland expressed his content with the opportunity of setting up a
new parliamentary committee for investigating "March 1 cases".
He said this addressing a joint press conference with acting Foreign
Minister of Armenia Edward Nalbandian, Mediamax reports.
"I am glad to see a task force established for studying the
international observers' proposals on presidential elections. I am also
glad that a new committee is established in the Armenian parliament
which will try to reveal 2008 March 1 cases", said Thorbjorn Jagland.
He also said that he has big expectations from Armenia's presidency
in Council of Europe Committee of Ministers.
