    ARMENIAN-LITHUANIAN COOPERATION IN CYBER SECURITY DISCUSSED

    YEREVAN, APRIL 19, ARMENPRESS: The Acting Minister of Defense of the
    Republic of Armenia Seyran Ohanyan in the framework of his official
    visit to the Republic of Lithuania had a meeting with the Minister
    of National Defense of Lithuania Juozas Olekas on April 18.

    As Armenpress was reported by the Department for Information and Public
    Relations of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, during
    the meeting the heads of the ministries of defense highly evaluated
    the current level of development of the Armenian-Lithuanian military
    cooperation, having a history of more than a decade, and highlighted
    the collaboration development in the fields, such as military
    education, military medicine, peacekeeping, expert consultations, etc.

    Agreements have been achieved to form and develop the cooperation
    in the spheres of cyber security, human resources management and
    energy security.

    Seyran Ohanyan and Juozas Olekas exchanged opinions about the issues
    related to the regional security.

    Today, on April 19 during the meetings held at the Ministry of
    National Defense of the Republic of Lithuania, the sides discussed a
    wide circle of issues related to the Armenian-Lithuanian relations,
    the cooperation development process and the prospects in the framework
    of the European Union Eastern Partnership and NATO, as well as other
    issues related to the regional security.
