YEREVAN, APRIL 18, ARMENPRESS: Exploration of other countries' archives
is of a crucial importance for Armenian national archive. As director
of national archive of Armenian Amatuni Virabyan noted in April 18
interview with journalist, national archives of Brazil, Argentina
and Bulgaria were not studied enough, while "they certainly contain
interesting information on Armenian Genocide".
"There is still much work to do in Iranian archives," Virabyan
underlined.
Director of national archives expressed his concern over the lack of
Ottoman language specialists in Armenia.
National archive of Armenia is the largest cache of documents on
Armenian Genocide, including 12,000 text documents.
