YEREVAN. - It is difficult to pick words to describe genocide. It has
become a part of Armenian nation's identity, director of Institute of
Orientology Ruben Safrastyan said during the Thursday Yerevan-Moscow
space bridge.
Armenians have been struggling for genocide recognition for 100 years,
and after gaining independence it has become an essential part of
Armenia's foreign policy, he said.
Safrastan mentioned a document owned by Russia's state Dma which
describes what the Turks perpetrated in the Western Armenia.
"Recollection on Western Armenia will remain in our hearts forever,"
he emphasized.
