YEREVAN. - The Government of Armenia should consider alternative
economic programs. AlternativeResearchCenter Director, economist Tatul
Manaseryan stated this during a press conference on Saturday.
In Manaseryan's words, such programs can be of great benefit, and they
should not be rejected just because their designers are others.
To the question as to whether the authorities solely accept
liberal-oriented programs, the economist remarked that `isms' have
remained in the past after the global economic crisis in 2008.
`[We] should be more pragmatic. The program should be evaluated in
accordance with the suitability to local conditions, [and] the
rationality of the proposals,' Tatul Manaseryan stated.
