Hraparak: ARF-D rep. against PM Sargsyan's reappointment
11:34 - 20.04.13
Armen Roustamyan of the opposition Armenian Revolutionary
Federation-Dashnaksutyun (ARF-D) is said to be critical of the
president's decision to re-appoint Tigran Sargsyan a prime minister.
Speaking to the paper after a meeting at the Presidential Office,
Routamyan said that Serzh Sargsyan agreed only to some of the party's
proposals aimed at promoting reforms in the country. `I introduced our
approaches for finding a way out of this situation. He accepted some
but disagreed to others,' he was quoted as saying.
Asked whether the opposition may urge for replacing the prime
minister, Roustamyan answered, `That depends on the movement's
powerfulness. I am sure it will happen in case we demonstrate that
strength in the street. It will happen under a powerful pressure. That
has to turn into a referendum to impeach the authorities. That will
make all [the forces] unite.'
