ARMENIAN GENOCIDE COMMEMORATED IN ALEPPO

A religious service in commemoration of Armenian Genocide victims
was held at the Church of the Holy Mother of God, Aleppo, April 24,
Armenia's foreign office reports.
A ceremony was held at the Aghjanyan hall of the Armenian
Catholicosate, in the presence of the leaders of the Armenian
Apostolic, Catholic and Evangelical communities and representatives
of Armenian cultural unions.
Armenian Consul General Karen Grigoryan made a closing speech. He
spoke of the international recognition of the Armenian Genocide,
prevention of genocides, and Armenia's relevant efforts.
