YEREVAN, APRIL 26, ARMENPRESS: Azerbaijani authorities are not willing
for the peaceful settlement of Karabakh conflict. Easy earning money
caused dizziness, prompting them to prepare new adventurous programs.
As reports Armenpress, this has been declared by acting Foreign
Minister of Armenia Edward Nalbandian when responding to question of
Russian news agency ITAR-TASS whether it is necessary to beware of the
start of military operations.
Nalbandian has stressed that refusing to work in frames of the
principals of the peaceful settlement of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict
Azerbaijan is just not ready to accept the fundamental principles of
regulation suggested by OSCE Minsk Group which are the result of many
years' efforts.
Foreign Minister has noted that threats of Baku, hostile and
belligerent rhetoric, numerous violations of ceasefire and Azerbaijani
obvious preparation for war are creating a complicated situation.
Nalbandian has underlined that despite numerous warnings of world
community and Minsk Group Co-Chairs regarding the unacceptability of
the use of force, as well as regarding having no other option but the
peaceful settlement, Baku has instilled itself it can ignore those
calls.
`That comes to prove that Azerbaijani authorities are not ready for
the peaceful settlement. Probably `easy' money causes dizziness in
Azerbaijan. They are losing the sense of reality which prompt them to
prepare new adventurous plans which may have tough affects not only
for the region but first of all for Azerbaijan,' Nalbandian said.
`Azerbaijani side is not only refusing the principals of the peaceful
settlement but also the suggestions of mediators on the maintenance of
ceasefire regime, withdrawal of snipers from the contact line as well
as on creation of mechanism investigating the incidents,' Minister
added.
Minister expressed doubt that Baku didn't get any lesson from the past
when it hadn't followed the urges of international community and
refused to suspend the started war.
Foreign Minister of Armenia has expressed gratitude to Russian
Federation which joint with the Minsk Group Co-Chairs is making
efforts for the settlement of NK conflict.
